The ideology of Rashtra Shaktibadi Party (RSP) is built around the idea of Shakti — strength — understood not as the power of the state alone, but as a combination of national strength, citizen empowerment, and institutional strength. The party summarizes this philosophy in the phrase: "Mazboot Rashtra, Saksham Nagarik, Nyayapurn Samaj" — a strong nation, a capable citizenry, a just society. The word "Shaktibadi" is not intended to denote an authoritarian concentration of power in government; rather, it refers jointly to a strong nation, empowered citizens, and strong public institutions operating together.

Strong and independent nation

The party places national security and sovereignty as a foundational priority, including the protection of India's territorial integrity. It holds that India's foreign policy should be conducted primarily in India's national interest, and that India should continue to grow as an independent and influential actor in global affairs.

Citizen empowerment

RSP's stated position is that political and administrative power should not remain concentrated only in state capitals or the national capital. It argues for stronger citizen participation in governance, better public service delivery, greater accountability of government to the people it serves, and expanded authority for local communities and local government bodies.

Economic strength

The party holds that a strong nation requires a strong economy, and identifies employment generation, support for small businesses and startups, expansion of manufacturing and infrastructure, skill development, and encouragement of investment and entrepreneurship as central economic priorities.

Rule of law

RSP's position on the rule of law is summarized in the principle that the law should apply equally, "whether to an ordinary citizen or a powerful person." This includes support for independent institutions, faster delivery of justice, strong action against corruption, and greater accountability within police and public administration.

Education and youth

The party identifies India's young population as its greatest strength, and prioritizes quality education, vocational and technical training, employment-oriented skill development, and expanded participation of young people in sports, innovation, politics, and governance.

Public welfare

Alongside national strength, the party's platform includes securing citizens' basic needs: healthcare, clean drinking water, sanitation, housing, food security, and improved government schools.

Constitutional democracy

RSP holds that a strong nation should not mean an unchecked government. Its stated position is that the strength of the state must operate within the framework of the Constitution, the judiciary, Parliament, fundamental rights, and other democratic institutions.

Development and environment

The party's development agenda includes cleaner cities, improved public transport, renewable energy, water conservation, and sustainable infrastructure, framed as necessary for the country's long-term strength rather than as separate from it.

These principles are embedded in the party's constitution and are intended to guide its internal governance and its approach to candidate selection.
